I was reading info on a site about people with low blood sugar (Non-Diabetic ) but theres a part I don't get..
Both diabetic and hypoglycemic attacks are precipitated by surges in blood sugar. So avoiding carbs helps to level out the amount of blood sugar in the system. Simple carbohydrates readily release their sugar into the system, complex carbohydrates are a bit harder to digest and will release their sugars a bit more slowly. But, it is the body's inability to process this sugar, either through insulin resistance or lack of insulin, that cause diabetic/hypoglycemic attacks. Surges in the amount of sugar in the system make these attacks more likely, so avoiding those surges is the best way to manage these diseases..
