that they're trying to reduce the amount that is grown cheaply for use as animal feed for meat consumption as it destroys the rainforest due to deforestation. now, i love soya products and eat non-gm and organic types- would this also contribute to deforestation-where is it grown? i live in the UK btw. this topic keeps popping up a lot in conversation recently and i never know what to answer back when people say i'm not helping the environment by consuming soya. what can i say?
