Could i excercise in a pool thats 30-40 degrees?

could i excercise in my pool this time of year i have no heat in the pool its been raining and 50 degrees nightly and during the day 60 -75 degrees i think the pool may be somewhere at 35 -40 could i hop in and do laps and warm up while excercising...
