Had medical marijuana in OR, can I get Marinol in KY?

I had to move here for financial reasons and now that can't legally have marijuana and I have kids I care about I was wondering if I might have a hard time getting something like Marinol- at least until I can move back to a medically friendly state. It's for arthritis that I've had since I was 8 and I cannot use narcotics because of the side effects ie. extremely grotesque nightmares I can't pull myself out of. I've been through absolutely every therapy and unless I do an extensive routine everyday MJ is the only thing that provided relief without making me feel crazy. I don't want to be treated like a junkie if I go to the doctor and ask about it though and a new doctor almost never listens when I tell them I cannot have narcotics. Any advice is helpful, thanks!
