You can learn your dogs language. When the puppy gets rambunctious, look away slightly and start yawning, keep this up until she settles down. Our language is often lost on them but our tone is not, that's what starts many problems, a frustrated tone will incite more of what you don't want. Watch your older dog closely when the puppy is in sight of her, she will lick her lips and put her head down, those are calming signals. Make sure your pup is able to sleep undisturbed for 15 hours a day, an exhausted dog is a stressed dog and trying to wear them out can backfire. Please don't try to scare her with loud noises, that could have a lasting effect. Best of luck.
